Did I Say "Icky"?

Okay, so maybe not all icky... some boys aren't completely icky. Not entirely, anyway. As far as we know.

In fact, the proportion of ickiness of certain select members of the male sex is, at present, far from proven, and, I believe, requires further intense study in order to determine the answer definitively.

I shall take this study firmly in hand and attempt to ascertain myself the precise proportion of icky to pretty-freakin'-fabulous by observing at close range a sampling of the target population. This will not be an easy project. It might involve great personal peril. There could very well be unforeseen dangers to which I will be subjected. Still, no sacrifice is too great for the furtherance of genuine scientific knowledge and the edification of humanity.

Wish me luck.

  4. Um, how exactly will you be taking this study "firmly in hand"? This sounds like a very up close and personal study.

  5. Precise research strategem has not, as yet, been fully determined. I can tell you that I plan to commence with the project sometime shortly after Christmas, when I hope to have an approach fully outlined and ready to apply.

A full abstract of my research techniques will be forthcoming in any publication which documents my studies (as per the applicable CBE formatting guidelines for publication of all scientific studies).

(Ouch... I think I just strained my sense of irony.)

  6. Oh they are ALL icky. Even if they start out great, it's only a matter of time before they get so comfortable they fart in your presence because they forgot you were there. Or is that just MY LIFE?! I look forward to your findings professor.

  7. Oh but they are icky - even the ones who are good most of the time. Boys are icky, and we're having a cross-cultural conversation each and every time we lower ourselves to speak to one. Do let me know how your research goes.
